I hope he doesn't mind me telling the world
So, Jerod and I were in the Olive Garden the other night "celebrating" our 6 month marker from when we FIRST ate there (which also happened to be our first date). We had just finished eating and I ran to the restroom. As I was coming out, I saw very familiar figure sitting down waiting in the lobby-area. He looked up and his jaw dropped to the floor the same as mine. Who was this guy that lives in WYOMING and who I haven't seen in almost a YEAR and who would never come through Billings without calling and tell ME. Yep, it was the one and only Matthew Rocchio. I walk up to him, cock my head and say, "You are SO busted." And in true Matthew form, he stumbles over his words for a minute and finally blurts out in one big run-on sentence. "I'm just passing through and I'm here with my girlfriend." His WHAT?? So, after we kind of get over the shock of seeing each other, I invite him and his GIRLFRIEND over to sit with Jerod and I. Bizarre bizarre bizarre. It just struck me then. Life changes so quickly. We can be living our lives every day by boring day, and all of a sudden, I'm sitting there with one of my best friends exchanging ackward chit-chat in front of these other two very important additional people in our lives. I didn't ask for the change. I'm actually quite scared of the change (ask Jerod about my freak-out moments). But God has put it here in my path and I just have to go with it. And I could definitely use some prayers as I face some major forks in the road soon. Which path to take?? And WHEN to take it?
Oh, and Matthew, if you ever read this, Melissa seems VERY lovely and I am excited to get to know her better. It was nice chatting with you and let's SERIOUSLY talk about the pillow idea in November....that is, IF you ever get invited to a certain wedding happening in November....

Well Andrea, It was great seeing you in Olive Garden. I was quite surprised to see you. Like Melissa said, "Think a bear, see a bear." It was excititng though to see you there and I am sorry for not calling and saying we were stopping. I am glad i saw you though and I am glad you got to meet Melissa. Yes how quickly life does change. And now the whole world does know about her, that is good though. Now all i have to say if anybody asks is, "Andrea blogged about her, you should know about her from that." She is a very lovely girl and I hope that you can spend more time with her to get to know her. Thanks for telling me to leave Billings early yesterday, that was very nice and thoughtful and cool of you. I appreciated it a lot!! Hope to see you in November at the wedding, if i get invited that is. Hmmm... i might get used to this blogging. :)
